Working with Multicultural Customers

four ethincally diverse individuals

The face of Minnesota's customer is changing. Each year, Minnesota hosts nearly 1 million international visitors, but we also serve increasingly diverse customers from across the U.S. and even Minnesota. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, minorities make up 25% of the U.S. population, 19% of American have disabilities, and 25% of the U.S. population is under the age of 18. Serving these diverse customers happens throughout Minnesota’s communities – from main street businesses to the courthouse, convenience stores to healthcare facilities.

At Your Service is a curriculum that builds the knowledge and skills of service providers to meet the needs of customers. We can help you to:

  • arrange for a workshop in your business
  • purchase the curriculum and become an instructor
  • create a community-wide service quality initiative
