Building Leadership and Understanding is the Golden Ticket!

Building Leadership and Understanding (BLU)

Three Aitkin County 4-H teens; Joey Haasken, Raija Gustin and Thomas Gustin, attended this 4-H overnight retreat along with 75 other 4-H teens from counties in the North East Region. The event was held at Long Lake Conservation Center (LLCC) near Palisade, MN. They learned about leadership, played games, ate good food, had fun, made new friends and accomplished three service projects. The projects were given to LLCC to use to promote environmental education programs; they made bat houses, bee houses and bird feeders.

BLU is held every February for 4-H members in grades 6th-12th.

We hope you join in on the fun next year at BLU 2018!
