New Program Coordinator starts in January!

We are pleased to announce that Toni Gage has been offered and accepted the 4-H Program Coordinator position in Aitkin County!

As most of you know, Toni has been serving as the interim 4-H PC for the last few months to cover the vacancy left when Beth Haasken took a position at the county's Land Service department. Toni has experience with the 4-H program serving as interim at the Crow Wing County 4-H Program and as a summer 4-H intern at Douglas County. Her background includes being a paraprofessional at Nay-Ah-Shing School, Onamia, as well as a clerical/office position at the Brainerd Surgical Center. Toni was a 4-H member in Crow Wing County where she participated notably on the horse drill team, as a county ambassador, and as an incredibly enthusiastic and talented camp counselor.

Toni will start her position on January 2, 2018. The position will go from 30 hours per week to full-time in 2018. With the increase in hours, efforts will be made to grow membership and recruit and lead new volunteers. Toni can be reached at 218-927-2538 or

Toni is excited to start work full-time at Aitkin County 4-H! Please help us officially welcome Toni!
