Register to Exhibit at the 4-H County Fair with the Premium Book

Participating in the county fair is an exciting way to showcase your hard work and achievements!  I challenge all 4-H members to exhibit a project this year.

What is a premium book?  The premium book is the most important tool to help you prepare and register for the County Fair.  This document contains fair schedules, suggestions and exhibit requirements for projects, and registration forms to sign up to exhibit at the County Fair.  Please read carefully as updates and changes are made each year.  It will also help you answer the many questions you may have about what 4-H at the County Fair is and advancing to the State Fair!

Pre-Registration forms are included in the book and MUST be returned to the 4-H office by July 1 in order to show projects at the fair with full privileges*.  Pre-registrations will be accepted postmarked by July 1, faxed (763-755-6950), scanned and e-mailed to support staff Kim Ferguson at fergu029@umn.edu, or hand delivered to the office by July 1.

The 4-H office is located at 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover MN 55304.
Office hours are 8-4:30, M-F.

*Full privileges include ribbons above a blue placing and state fair eligibility.  4-H members who do not turn in forms by this date are eligible to request a one-time exemption.  Contact Anna Gilbertson for more information.

If you have questions about the fair contact your club leader or the Extension Office.   We are happy to help in any way!
