LQA&E Training

You are required to be LQA&E certified to show beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goat, rabbit, or poultry at the Minnesota State Fair.  Certifications are good for three fair seasons.   If you are in 6th grade or older and planning to exhibit livestock at County and/or State Fair and have never taken LQA&E training, you will need to be attend.  If you last took LQA&E Training in 2015 or earlier, you will need to attend again.  The Extension office will be notifying the members whose LQA&E certifications are expired.  Please be watching your e-mails.

Lincoln County will be offering the following LQA&E Level 2 training:

Wednesday, June 13
6:00 pm
Lake Benton Community Center
Level 2 only

If the training in Lincoln County doesn't work for you, there are two trainings being offered in Lyon County.

Saturday, April 21
9:00 am-12:00 pm
Level 1- Marshall Public Library
Level 2- Lyon County Extension Office, 500 Fairgrounds Road, Marshall
Register by April 4 -- to register call 507-532-8219
There will be a $15.00 registration fee for non-Lyon County 4-H'ers

Thursday, June 7
5:30 pm-9:00 pm
Both Level 1 & Level 2 Trainings will be held at the Lyon County Fairgrounds, 500 Fairgrounds Road, Marshall, MN
Register by Tuesday, June 5 -- to register call 507-532-8219
There will be a $15.00 registration fee for non-Lyon County 4-H'ers
