Dog Training Meeting and Information

There are some important things involved in participating in this project.  Please read the information in the "General Information and 2017 Training Schedule booklet very carefully to reference throughout the training season.


To participate in the dog project your are required to attend the first dog project meeting on Tuesday, April 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the Tuscan Center (lounge room 116C) at the Midtown Office Building in St. Cloud.


DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG, but do bring your vaccination certificate, check for registration fee and equipment order form. That night we will be going over the rules.  All dog project members are expected to attend, including Puppy Paws, beginners and advanced.


Please bring all items listed:

*  Verification of shots;  2017 MN 4-H Dog Project ID Affidavit and Vaccination Verification and have your Vet sign to prove verification of shots.  Bring this form to the April 18th meeting.  Dog ID forms are due to your County Extension Office by May 15th.  This form must be on time to show at the County Dog Show and State Dog Show.

*  There is a $15.00 membership fee per 4-H Dog Project Member ($5.00 per 4-H Puppy Paws Member) with a maximum family fee of $30.00  Make check payable to Benton County 4-H and pay this fee on April 18th.  Fees are non-refundable.

*  Equipment Order Form - If interested in purchasing equipment through the project, complete the attached order form and bring to the April 18th meeting.
