  • Project Bowl Practices Kick Off Soon

    The second-largest-attended event during the 4-H year is the Project Bowl competition. Patterned after the golden-oldie television show "College Bowl", it challenges teams of three to six youth in their knowledge of certain 4-H project areas.

    Associate dean and state 4-H director Dorothy Freeman celebrates the connection between 4-H and healthy choices in young people. Two 4-H members' stories are featured and you're invited to share your own healthy living story.
  • Plan to attend the 2018 Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) trip to Washington DC!

    Minnesota 4-H youth in grades 9-13 are invited to strengthen their communication, leadership, and citizenship skills at a national level by attending Citizenship Washington Focus in Washington D.C. from June 23-30, 2018. Registration will open Feb. 1, and close when all spaces have been filled, or by Feb. 28, whichever comes first.
  • Announcing the 2018 4-H Engineering Design Rube Goldberg Challenge for high school youth

    Starting in 2018 the 4-H Engineering Design Rube Goldberg Challenge will include high school youth in grades 9 to one year after high school. The 2018 challenge will be to “plant a seed and water the seed”.
