The date has been set for our 2017 4-H Dog Show

The Big Stone County 4-H Dog Show has been scheduled for Saturday, July 8th , at the Big Stone County Fairgrounds.

Dog project sessions will begin soon, but as a reminder, dog project members should work with their dogs a little each day on their own. Dog project affidavits have been sent in the mail to enrolled 4-Hers. Please let the Extension Office know if you did not get one. As a reminder, youth are not allowed to bring their dogs to practice unless the affidavit is turned in with a proof that your dog is up to date on vaccinations done by a local veterinarian. A new photo of your dog needs to be attached to the form this year as well.

For more information on the 4-H dog project and what you could be working on with your dogs, please contact head dog project leader Tammy Schumacher at 320-305-2228.
