Calling all 4-H’ers in Grade 7 and Above: Join the CC4-H Ambies
4-H members in grade 7 and above are invited to join the Carlton County 4-H Ambassadors. The purpose of the Ambassador program is to create opportunities for teen 4-H members to develop leadership and communication skills. Ambassadors are also members of the Leaders Council. They serve as spokespersons promoting 4-H events and activities and are a resource to other 4-H members. Some of the fun things that they work on during the year include: assist with project trainings, help their 4-H clubs with activities at meetings, work on community service projects, lead the Winter Whoosh retreat, emcee Share-the-Fun and serve as judges assistants at county fair. The ambassadors meet at the same time as the Leaders Council on the second Monday of the month starting at 6:30 p.m.
