Walker After School Clubs

In partnership with the Walker/Hackensack/Akeley school, we are excited to begin a new 4-H after-school club in Walker, with the initial run of programming starting on Dec 6 and continuing through February. We will be working on all types of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering,  and Math) projects with the new members of this club, and they will be encouraged to enter them into the fair this summer. As we go, we will post the projects along with directions and material lists in this newsletter and on our Facebook page.

After the great success of our fundraising efforts over the last year, the Budget Committee allocated significant funds towards club programming for this 4-H year. As new projects are posted, if any club would like to use any of the projects we do with the Walker after-school club at your club meetings, please contact the Extension Office so we can make arrangements to get you the required amount of materials in time.

This will be an exciting opportunity to begin expanding our 4-H program into new areas with new members while also providing new programming options for existing clubs.
