Project Learning Happens at Winter Workshop Day

Join us for a morning of learning and discovery as youth explore a variety of 4-H projects! This FREE morning of 4-H programs includes a variety of 4-H projects that kids can explore together. 

WHEN: Saturday, JAN 27 beginning at 9:00 am. Check in begins at 8:30 am
WHERE: Kost Evangelical Free Church, 37405 Kost Trail, North Branch, MN
WHY: Explore and expand your 4-H Project knowledge!
HOW MUCH: FREE with a non-perishable food donation 

Sessions will be finalized by January 1st when registration opens but may include:

9:00-10:00 am 

  • Frozen Quillow - Make a quilted pillow, hosted by Chisago County 4-H Clothing/Committee
  • Owl Pellets - hosted by 4-H Volunteer Janet Schweigert
  • Gardening 101 - hosted by Master Gardener Rose Marie Otterson
  • Horseshoe Photo Frame

10:10-11:10  am

  • How to Prepare for a Rabbit Fun Show - hosted by the Chisago County 4-H Cottontails
  • Slime Science - hosted by 4-H member Alice Schweigert
  • Home Environment - hosted by 4-H Volunteer Cindy Carlson-Schlipp
  • Art Concetps - hosted by 4-H volunteer Stephanie Lewis

11:20 am -12:20 pm

  • Decorate that Cake - hosted by 4-H'er Courtney Stream
  • All About Poultry - hosted by 4-H'er Kari Myhran
  • 4-H for Health - hosted by 4-H volunteer Dan Landherr
  • Exploring Geology - hosted by Wild River Naturalist Mike Dunker

9-12:20 pm - Designed workshops for Clovebud  members (K-2nd Grade) - hosted by Chisago County 4-H Ambassadors

*Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis and slots fill up quickly!
