SAY CHEESE: A Chisago County 4-H Fundraiser

Every year Chisago County 4-H provides quality cheese to families through our SAY CHEESE: 4-H FUNDRAISER. The cheese we will sell this year is from Ellsworth Cooperative in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. The cheese will be delivered March 24 to local clubs who will then distribute it to buyerse. This is JUST IN TIME FOR EASTER! All of the profits from the sale go to support local 4-H programs and clubs.

We hope you will join us by purchasing cheese from 4-H clubs to support the positive things happening in Chisago County 4-H!

THE 4-H IMPACT: My favorite thing about being an ambassador is getting to grow other 4-H’ers into strong and confident leaders. I enjoy being able to share my passion with others while making 4-H a better organization. - Lauren Olson

Below are instructions for 4-H members.

STEP ONE: Memorize the details above to share with buyers

STEP TWO:  Deliver order forms to potential buyers (friends, family, and neighbors)

STEP THREE:  Record potential buyers on the large seller sheet.

Write their name and phone number down on the large sheet so you can call them back in the future asking them if they want to buy. Keep the brochures for your records!

STEP FOUR:  Record your sales and secure the money in a safe place.

To collect sales, have buyers return their completed order form with their order and a check (made payable to Chisago County 4-H). Transfer the information onto your large seller worksheet and store the checks together in a safe place. If you are more comfortable talk to your club leaders about collecting and storing your money.

STEP FIVE:  Turn your large sale sheet into club leaders by February 19

STEP SIX:  Distribute cheese on delivery date

The cheese is scheduled to be delivered to North Branch on March 24, 2018. A leader from each club should arrange to pick up the club order from North Branch at 11:00 am and bring it to a central pickup location for your club. Communicate the details of this pickup with your buyers as soon as you know the details.

STEP SEVEN:  Eat and enjoy! Collect all funds before distributing the cheese to buyers.
