End of the 4-H Year – What YOU Need to Do

September 30th is the end of the 4-H year - all volunteer and committee receipts are due in the office (or to your club leaders) by September 15. This will allow enough time for our treasurer to close the books on September 30th.

4-H clubs will also close out their books September 30th and begin the process of completing the club charter due in the Extension Office on or before November 1, 2017. Do you best to turn in any receipts to your club leaders asap so they are able to complete the charter process with ease!

Committees will have the following due by September 30th; updated inventories, committee goals, and a budget proposal for the upcoming year.  *NEW this year – a packet of these forms will be mailed to committee leaders. Leaders should determine if they want to hold an end of the year wrap up meeting with their committee or if they think a few phone calls to committee members to discuss these items will do the trick. All committee receipts for reimbursement for the 2016-2017 year expenses are due by September 15th, all other forms mentioned above are due by the 30th.
