Project Bowl

The second largest attended state event during the 4-H year is the Project Bowl competition. Patterned after the golden-oldie television show “College Bowl,” it challenges teams in their knowledge of certain 4-H project areas. Specific curriculums are named for youth to study from and they are coached by adult volunteers. There are eight different bowls: Dairy, Dairy Goat, Dog, General Livestock, Horse, Poultry, Rabbit and Wildlife. We currently have a horse project bowl team, but if you’re interested in joining a project bowl team or learning more about project bowl, please contact the Extension office by January 15.
