Interested in Beekeeping?

The North Central Bee Keepers Association wants to let Crow Wing County 4-H youth know about a scholarship available for a class taking place in Brainerd this Spring.

Youth (ages 10-16) can apply for a scholarship to take a bee keeping class.

This includes free bees, hive and Bee Keepers Association membership. This scholarship is intended for getting a new generation involved in bee keeping.

Some details about the scholarship

– Includes attendance to Introduction to Beekeeping class

– New equipment provided – hive with bottom, cover, and frames

– Expect your bees to arrive around mid-April

– Plan to join us at the November meeting to let us know how your first season went
