The exclusive purpose of this 4-H Federation organization shall be to cooperate with the University of Minnesota Extension 4-H program staff in unifying and strengthening the 4-H Youth Development program in Dakota County.
The Green Team is a group for 6-8th graders where you learn leadership skills and perform community service projects while making new friends and having fun! Pizza will be served, so please register by Nov. 8.
Participants will learn how to sew their own pair of pajama pants or a one-seam sundress. In the morning participants will learn how to cut a pattern, pin, and identify basic parts of a sewing machine.
Dakota County 4-H Youth Teaching Youth is a cross-age teaching model that gives high school students the opportunity to teach elementary students about character building, alcohol and tobacco decision-making, and building community in the classroom.
The statewide fall volunteer training is for all 4-H youth & adult volunteers in clubs and county-wide groups and programs, including Project Development Committees, Federations, Leader’s Council and others. At least one volunteer from each club or group needs to attend, but you are encouraged to come as a team of youth and adults.
