Youth Council Officer Nominations

Youth Council is a small time commitment (six meetings) that meet the 4th Monday of the Month at 6:00 pm.  The meeting months are January, March, May, June, September and October.  It is a great way to gain leadership skills and citizenship skills for your future. Youth Council officers will be elected at the Awards Program on Sunday, November 19th. We will be electing a president, vice president, secretary, youth treasurer, and youth at large positions.  Officers need to be in 8th grade or older. If you are interested in serving as an officer, you can sign up for a youth council office by contacting the  Extension office at 507-526-6241 or 6240 or email or your attendance at the Achievement Program on the 19th of November. You will be placed on the ballot of your first choice of office.  Descriptions of the officer duties are posted on our county website and Facebook pages and are also available at the Extension Office.  Please consider taking on this great leadership role at the county level.
