Post-Harvest Grain Marketing Session Scheduled

With fall harvest soon approaching, producers are invited to attend one of several post-harvest grain marketing programs to be held throughout the state. The program, entitled "To Store or The sessions will focus on learning how to develop a 2003 crop post-harvest marketing plan, how to take advantage of any storage carry in the market, how to develop an exit strategy in the marketing plan, the role of options in the marketing plan, and looking ahead to a 2004 crop pre-harvest market plan.

Sessions will be held in St. Cloud, Sept. 2; Worthington, Sept. 5; Blue Earth, Sept. 5; Willmar, Sept. 8 (woman’s program); Rochester, Sept. 9; Centerville, WI., Sept. 9; Owatonna, Sept. 10; and St. Peter, Sept. 10. Cost is $25 per person and each session is limited to 40 registrants.
