Junior Fair Board Member Applications Due March 7
Who: Youth in grades 7-13; must be able to drive or have a reliable way to the meetings.
What: The Junior Fair Board is a group of youth who assist the Fair Board with the preparation of the fairgrounds for the annual event. Tasks may include painting, using basic hand tools (hammer, drill, saw, screwdriver, etc), pulling weeds, picking rock… anything that needs to be done. Junior Fair Board members are also involved in the planning of the fair, including marketing, new entertainment, contests, activities and the improvement of current programs.
When: Summer 2014 - The Fair Board meets once per week from the end of May up to the week of the fair in August. Prior and after the fair, we meet once per month and the Junior Fair Board is welcome at those times also.
