Grant County 4-H Visits Local Schools

One of our goals from the GOT:VIVA project, the Grant County 4-H program is reaching to serve youth in Hoffman and Barrett regions of the county. In October and November, 4-H has been visiting local schools in Grant County.  During 4-H Week, Grant County 4-H Program Coordinator, Katie Saterbak visited with Mr. Lasch’s High School Agricultural class at Herman-Norcross Community School.  Katie also visited the West Central Area High School on October 28th to promote 4-H during the middle and high school lunch hours. During the West Central Area School Districts Parent-Teacher Conferences on November 21st, display booths were set up at the West Central Area High School and the West Central North Elementary School.

Informational Meetings will be held at West Central Area Secondary School on Monday, December 5th at 5:00 pm and at the Grant County Extension Office Meeting Room  on Thursday, December 8th at 6:00 pm. Each meeting will be about 30-45 minutes in length. Parents and Youth are encouraged to attend.
