Science of Agriculture Challenge Team

On November 1st, a Science of Agriculture Challenge informational meeting was held to help inform members and parents about the Science of Agriculture Challenge. Additionally, Katie Saterbak, Grant County 4-H Program Coordinator has met with the Grant County Farm Bureau. The Farm Bureau is willing to sponsor a team for next year’s challenge (2017-2018) and provide us with contact information to great mentors that are located here in Grant County . By January 15th, members, parents, and volunteers need to let the Grant County 4-H Program coordinator if you would like to be part of the Science of Agriculture Challenge.  If you will be in 6th grade – 12th grade in 2017-2018, think about taking part in this activity. Youth will work with members of the community who have knowledge in different agri-businesses, contribute to solving real world problems, and learn about the technologies that are changing agronomy, dairy and livestock production, and food production.  To learn more about the Science of Agriculture visit the Science of Ag Homepage and watch the numerous videos they have posted!
