Hubbard County 4-H has several older youth that have committed themselves to being an Ambassador.  What does this mean?  Ambassadors are a group of youth who are very committed to learning leadership skills, help promote our 4-H program (both at the club and county level), and become a team player.  These youth work hard at helping with 4-H events, service projects and promoting 4-H, but they also build lasting friendships, gain confidence and become a real team player.  The Ambassadors work hard, but they also play hard.  Our Ambassador group has gone on a mystery trip and did rock climbing, sea kayaking and was part of a cultural exchange.  They have also gone camping with other counties ambassador groups.  We have several social events each year.  The Ambassadors would love to have new members.  If you are interested, please contact Mari Jo at the Extension Office at 732-3391.  Our next Ambassador meeting will be held on Saturday, October 14th.
