Attention Livestock Youth

Our livestock PDC (Project Development Committee) has been planning some great opportunities for any 4-H youth interested in learning more about livestock.

  • Join us on Friday, May 3rd for a fieldtrip to the Crookston University campus to tour their livestock barns.  The group will carpool to Crookston and will be leaving the Extension Office parking lot at 3:00 p.m. with an estimated return time of 9:30 p.m.  There is no cost for this event but youth will need money for a quick supper stop.

  • On Monday, March 6th, we will be hosting a speaker from Show-Rite Feeds.  Miles Toenyes will talk to the youth about Food & Nutrition, Show Preparation and answer any other questions about livestock that they may have.  This is also a free event and open to all 4-H youth and their families.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Please pre-register for both of these events by calling the Extension Office at 218-732-3391 or email Mari Jo at
