Hubbard County Fair

Are you thinking about what projects you are going to be taking to the fair this year?

The dates of this year’s fair are July 12-16th.  Our general project judging will be judged on TUESDAY, JULY 11th; the day before the fair even starts.  We will also have our pre-fair judging on June 27th and 28th.   Wednesday, June 27th we will be judging Clothes You Make, Clothes You Buy, Non-garment sewing projects, Fashion Review, Food Review, Foods and Nutrition and Food Preservation.  On Thursday, June 28th, all demonstrations, livestock demo’s and performing arts will be judged.

Just a reminder that we will be having livestock interviews on July 11th, the day before the fair begins. Interviews will start at 5:00, and you will have the opportunity to sign up for interview times through sign-up genus.  Livestock interviews are open to all youth who are showing livestock at the fair.  This is an opportunity to talk with a judge about a specific species of animal to see what your knowledge about that species is and to share your interview skills.  We are encouraging all youth that are showing livestock to participate in livestock interviews this year.
