  • Youth Leaders attended Hooked on Fishing training
    4-H youth leaders and adult volunteers from North St. Louis, South St. Louis, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Itasca, Koochiching counties and the Fond du Luc Tribal Program attended the Hooked on Fishing – Train the Trainer Program event at Bear Head Lake State Park outside of Ely on Saturday, June 10.

    All are welcome to join the 2017 4-H GREAN Team for an afternoon of tail waggin’ fun at the Grand Rapids Dog Park to learn about dog care and health, dog activities and more! Saturday, June 24 | 2-4p.m. | This is a FREE event!
  • Coaches EV3 Workshop coming in July
    Calling all 4-H FLL Robotics Coaches! You are invited to participate in an EV3 Programming Workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Northome Public School. This hands-on, interactive class where you will learn techniques tips and tricks that make programming the robot easier and more dynamic.

    Every one is invited to join 4-H families and friends in this 5K run/walk at the Northern Minnesota District Fairgrounds promote healthy living and raise funds for Koochiching County 4-H.

    The 2017 Koochiching County 4-H Fair Registration at is now open and will close on Friday June 30.

    Associate dean and state 4-H director Dorothy Freeman encourages youth and adults to make healthy choices this month and all year long. Our healthy choices can have a big impact on the community!
  • Register for the 2017 Minnesota 4-H State Shooting Sports & Wildlife Invitational!
    4-H youth in grades 3-13 who have completed 15 hours of on-line shooting under the guidance of a certified instructor and eight hours of wildlife education are invited to attend the 4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife Invitational Sept. 8-10 at the Martin County Fairgrounds in Fairmont. This event involves approximately 800 young people and is the culmination of the year-long shooting and wildlife project. Individuals must register by July 17 and teams must register by Aug. 18.
