Don't forget our Risk Management Training and Fair Business Meeting on May 7

The Minnesota 4-H Youth Development program is committed to providing safe and healthy environments where youth can learn new skills, interact with others and develop into contributing adults.  As a positive youth development organization, we have a moral and legal obligation to do so - and managing risk in our programs helps create that safe and healthy environment.

This training is designed to prepare volunteers for working within our programs risk management policies and practices.  Many of these policies and practices have existed for quite a while, but now we’ve pulled them all together and put them in a place where volunteers can have direct access.

At the end of our training, our goal is that you
1. Understand risk management when we look at it in our 4-H youth development program
2. Can use the tools to plan for risk management
3. Understand your responsibilities in managing risk.

Remember that we’re committed to providing a common set of standards to inform your decision making, create safe learning environments and provide you with the tools and training needed to ensure youth of Koochiching County 4-H are kept safe.

Directly following the Risk Management Training, the Koochiching County 4-H Leader's Council will have its "Fair Business" meeting.
