    The 2018 Koochiching County 4-H Fair Registration at https://koochiching.fairentry.com is now open and will close on Friday June 29.

    As the 4-H Afterschool programming draws to end, now is the time to start thinking about how you would like to participate at the County Fair this summer. Here are some steps to simplify the process…

    Horse Project Bowl Team place Second at State!

    More than 600 young people from across Minnesota gathered in Sauk Rapids on April 7 for University of Minnesota Extension's 4-H State Project Bowl. Koochiching County 4-H's Horse Project Bowl Team, the Mustangs, finished as the Reserve Champions for the Junior Horse Bowl division.

    Register now for 4-H YELLO!

    Don't forget to get registered now! Registration for the 4-H Youth Exploring Leadership & Learning Out loud! (YELLO!) conference on June 12-15, 2018, in the 4-H Building on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul will be closing on May 7. YELLO! is an annual statewide, four-day leadership conference with group discussions, workshops, service opportunities, challenging speakers and hands-on activities designed for youth...

    Remember the State Animal ID deadline is May 15.

    All breeding beef, dairy, dog, dairy goats, meat goats, horse, lama, poultry, rabbit, sheep and swine animal projects need to be identified by May 15.

    Congratulations 4-H Horse Project Bowl Team!

    Koochiching County 4-H's Horse Project Bowl Team, the Mustangs, were the Reserve Champions at Regional 4-H Project Bowl in Deer River on March 17. The team will be advancing to the State 4-H Project Bowl on April 7 in Sauk Rapids.

    Exploring First Lego League Jr

    Koochiching County 4-H is piloting First Lego League Jr programming for youth in grades K to 3rd in Northome in Feb-Mar and in International Falls in April-May! It’s never too early to discover STEM.

    Thursday Threads 4-H Club - String Arts

    Youth of the International Falls area in grades 3rd to 8th are invited to join us after school as we discover a whole new world of string art. The Thursday Threads 4-H Club will meet Thursdays (Mach 1 - April 8) in Room 205 of the Backus Community Center. Information on how to register, can be found here...
