4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife Camp

4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife Camp will be held at Galilee Bible Camp, near Lake Bronson State Park. Camp will begin on Thursday, July 30 with registration from 10-10:30 a.m. Campers will be released at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31.  Camp is open to youth who will have completed grades 3-8 this summer.  Youth will explore disciplines of the MN 4-H SS&W Program with certified instructors in: archery, air rifle, air pistol or BB gun, and wildlife.  Activities include range time, ATV safety, fishing, wildlife activities, canoe/paddle boats, kayaks, swimming, and other camp FUN!   Cost: $60, if applying by June 1 and includes free t-shirt, lodging, meals, equipment and activities materials. Registrations received after June 1 - $70, and not guaranteed a t-shirt.  Kittson County 4-H Council provides a scholarship for current members, following your participation at camp.  Check out the Shooting Sports & Wildlife camp flyer for additional details about camp.

Chaperones are needed!  Each county with youth participants must also provide a chaperone - 1:10 ratio.

Camp Counselors are needed!  4-H'ers in grades 9+ are asked to submit a camp counselor application by April 15, 2015.  There is no cost to apply to be a camp counselor.  If chosen, the cost for being at camp is $25.  Camp Counselor Training is encouraged, but not required to be a counselor at 4-H SS&W camp.
