Help Extension Research! Two Surveys and a chance to win a $25 gift card.

Cindy Tong, Extension Post-Harvest Horticulturist, is asking for our help in gathering data for research. She’s developed two surveys.

  •     Creeping charlie survey: The purpose is to learn how Minnesotans manage it in their lawns, and to obtain some economic data on the costs associated with its management. If the costs are high, maybe the data could be used to justify more research on this highly successful plant.

  •     Fruit and vegetable storage survey: The purpose of the survey is to find out how Minnesotans store produce at home. I don't think that anyone has really done research to determine the best methods to store the most common produce items, but I don't really know what different methods are used.

For each of the surveys, respondents can enter a drawing to win one of five $25 Visa gift cards.

The surveys can be found online: creeping charlie survey and home produce storage.

Thank you for your help!
