OVOC Update: Preserving the Harvest.

Fall and Harvest are synonymous with each other here in Minnesota. Apples are ready to be baked into pies, or canned into apple sauce; garden vegetables are abundant and ready for processing.  As a reminder, many garden vegetables must be canned using a pressure cooker this includes, but is not limited to, all types of beans, carrots, potatoes, soups, all types of squash.
