  • Congratulations scholarship recipients!
    The Minnesota 4-H Foundation is pleased to announce 2017 scholarship recipients. Find out which youth and alumni from across Minnesota received this special honor.
  • Dear Families
    The fair is fast approaching. Please watch deadlines for upcoming events. We encourage you to participate and become involved in these opportunities. Also, fair registration details will be coming soon. So think about your fair projects and what you will be registering for. If you ever have any questions, please call the extension office.
  • Fair Registrations
    County Fair registrations will be mailed directly to all members the first part of June. Each member will receive one entry form along with the 2017 premium list. Be sure you list all your entries on this one sheet. You can enter as many exhibits as you want but you can only enter exhibits in the project you are enrolled in.
  • 4-H Federation Meeting
    The next Marshall County Federation meeting will be held on Monday, June 12th at 7:30 p.m. at the E. Free Church in Newfolden. Please try to have a representative from your club at these meetings. Topics for discussion will be County Fair, Demonstrations, Fashion Revue, and County Fair registrations.
  • Demonstration, Performing Arts, Food & Fashion Revue
    Demonstrations, Performing Arts, Food Review and Fashion Revue will be judged on Tuesday, June 20, starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Newfolden. Registration deadline is June 12th. Please call the extension office to register. If you are planning to participate in any of these events, please put this on your fair registrations.
  • General Exhibit Judging at County Fair
    We will be conference judging general “Static” exhibits at the county fair on Wednesday, July 19, at 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Booth and banner will also be judged during this time. The registration table and judging tables will be closed from 11:30 – 12:30 for lunch.
  • Dairy Day
    Dairy Day will be held on June 17 at the cattle barn at the fairgrounds in Thief River Falls. You should have received information in the mail. Information and registration papers will be sent out to past Dairy Day participants and Extension Offices.
  • 4-H Deadlines/Consequences and Exemptions
    Deadlines not met on time will have consequences.
