    National 4-H Week

    Clubs are invited to promote National 4-H week October 7-13. If you need promotional material, there is some money in the Federation budget for promotional items. Additional promotional items are also available at the Marshall County Extension Office.

    Federation Meeting

    On October 15 Federation meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. at the Marshall County Courthouse basement meeting room in Warren.

    4-H Awards Banquet

    The awards banquet will be held on Sunday October 21 at 5:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Warren. Please call the extension office to register by October 8. The cost is $5.00 per person which must be prepaid (cash or check).

    Officers for the 2018-2019 year are

    State 4-H Horse Show

    The State 4-H Horse Show was held on September 14-17 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Silver Kraska, Kinzie Melvie, and Sydni Schroeder attended.

    Please pick up your 4-H projects!

    Projects that were exhibited at the State Fair can be picked up in the extension office.

    4-H YOUTH EXHIBIT THEIR BEST AT 2018 MINNESOTA STATE FAIR

    MARSHALL COUNTY 4-H’ERS DEMONSTRATE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN THE 4-H BUILDING St. Paul, MN (09/06/2018) – Minnesota 4-H’ers from 87 counties brought over 2,300 exhibits, delivered about 175 public presentations and participated in dozens of group learning experiences and performances at the 2018 Minnesota State Fair.

    Message from Jennifer: It’s a new season of doing in 4-H

    Interim Minnesota 4-H state leader Jennifer Skuza celebrates all the ways youth and adults can take action in 4-H. As the new program year begins, set your intentions for a year full of doing.

    Plan and develop your club’s budget

    It’s time for 4-H clubs to develop their annual budgets. Budgets provide a written plan for raising and spending money to accomplish club goals. Sharing budget reports with your club throughout the year is a great way to help all 4-H members understand where and how funds are being used.
