Martin County 4-H Cloverbud Animal Science Workshop

The Martin County 4-H Cloverbud Animal Science Workshop will be a fun and introductory workshop for Cloverbuds that are livestock exhibitors and non-livestock exhibitors alike!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: 4-H Cloverbuds (completed grades K-2 as of June 2014)

No animals required to participate! All Cloverbuds (livestock and non-livestock exhibitors) are invited to attend! 

WHAT WILL BE COVERED:  Participants will be introduced to the different breeds and characteristics in each of the following species: beef, dairy, sheep, and swine. There will be fun activities filled with discovery as we explore what makes each of these species unique and how the use of these animals impacts our everyday lives!

WHEN:  Thursday, July 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE:  Sherburn Park in Sherburn, MN

COST: FREE!

PRE-REGISTER By July 23: To register, contact the Martin County 4-H Office at 507-235-3341 or email gaals001@umn.edu. 

We will need a minimum of 10 youth to hold the workshop.
