  • AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship Program for Area High School Graduates

    Fairmont Area Chamber Agri-business Committee supports two AFA Leader and Academic Scholarships for Martin County. AFA matches raised community funds. Each AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship is $4,200, consisting of a $3,200 academic scholarship. The additional $1,000 will sponsor two Martin County recipients to the AFA Leaders Conference in Kansas City November 2-5, 2017.
  • LQA&E Training: Levels I & II – Monday, February 27 from 6-9 pm

    Martin County 4-H will host LQA&E Training for Levels I and II on Monday, February 27 from 6-9 p.m. at the Fairmont Elementary with check-in beginning at 5:30 pm. Please note: There is a $5 fee for any 4-Her’s coming from outside Martin County.
  • BLU 2017

    4-H Building Leadership & Understanding (BLU) is a youth leadership workshop that brings together youth from across the region to engage in activities and leadership lessons. Activities are planned by the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors and a regional planning team, and will focus this year on self-respect and empathy to find the “Golden Ticket”.
  • Attention Shooting Sports Participants

    Martin County 4-H Shooting Sports practice will take place every Monday night from 7pm to 8 pm beginning January 9 until May 8 at the Fairmont Armory, unless otherwise specified.
  • County Fair Judges' Training

    We are excited to offer a judges' training on Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at the Cornerstone United Methodist Church Hall in Marshall (202 N 4th St., Marshall, MN). The training is free. A light snack will be provided. A minimum of 10 participants is needed to hold the training. RSVP by January 24.
  • SW Winter Project Leader Training

    Refresh your green spirit, gather new ideas and harvest the rewards of networking with fellow SW Region 4-H volunteers at the SW Winter Volunteer Training. This adult volunteer track will coincide with the SW BLU at SMSU, Marshall.
  • 2017 Andrea Ruesch Scholarship applications are now being accepted

    The Family of Andrea Ruesch established a 4-H scholarship with the Minnesota 4-H Foundation in memory of her dedication and contributions to the Minnesota 4-H program. Based on the family’s belief in positive youth development, the focus of this scholarship is on demonstrated learning through hands-on experience and using what you have learned to help others (youth leadership). Due date March 6 2017.
