Hands to Larger Service: Teen Teachers Needed!

Looking to grow your leadership skills? Do you enjoy working with younger 4-H’ers? Want some great experiences to list on college applications? Then you should be a 4-H Teen Teacher!

We are looking for at least one teen and one adult for each our school communities… Henning, New York Mills, Perham, and Parkers Prairie, to lead after school programs.  If you and another 4-H friend would like to team up and co-teach, that’s great too!

There will be a teen teacher workshop to prepare teachers to learn through planning, organizing and leading others in a 4-H experience.  The time frame is flexibly, it can be a monthly meeting, a six-week meeting, and can start at any time within the school year. It can be about any 4-H project topic area you have a passion for.  Kelsey and Janet will provide all the training, curriculum, and supplies.

Please contact the Extension office at 218-385-5420 or e-mail Janet for more information.
