Pine County 4-H Council & Executive Board

The Pine County 4-H Council & Executive Board are the governing bodies for the county 4-H program.  They cooperate to the fullest extent in planning, conducting, and evaluating 4-H programs with Extension personnel.  They also develop plans for the financial support and budget of the Pine County 4-H program.

The Council meets 5 times a year: October, February, April, June, and September on the last Monday of the month.  Any 4-H member or volunteer may attend any meeting, make motions and participate in discussion; however, only ambassadors, and one adult and one youth from each club may vote.  All members and leaders may vote at the September Annual Council meeting.  All clubs are required to have one adult and one youth attend these meetings.

The Executive Board meets 6 times a year: November, January, March, May, July, and September on the last Monday of the month.  Any 4-H member or volunteer may attend any meeting, make motions and participate in discussion; however, only elected Executive Board members may vote.  Executive Board members are comprised of one adult leader and two youth members from each commissioner district of the county.

Officers and Executive Board members are elected at the annual meeting held in September, all are 4-H members and leaders are welcome to vote.
