Pine County 4-H Skiing and Tubing Trip

Is your family looking for something to do on Monday, February 19 when there is no school due to President's Day?   Look no further as Pine County 4-H is offering a skiing and tubing trip on this date to Trollhaugen located in Dresser, Wisconsin.

This event is open to all youth; Cloverbuds too!  Youth in all grades can tube on Trollhaugen's 10 lane tube hill.  Each lane offers a little different pitch, hills and speeds.  They also offer a conveyor belt to easily haul yourself and your tube up the hill.  Why waste precious time and energy by having to walk up the hill?!  Invite your 4-H friends and your friends from school for some great fun outside.

Skiing will only be offered for youth in grades 7 and above due to the higher risk on the ski hill.  No exceptions will be made as we need to minimize our risk.  Trollhaugen offers a variety of different ski hills for skiiers of all levels.  A skill assessment or free ski lesson will be required of all youth participating.  Helmets are also required due to the varied weather and speeds of the hills.

The cost for tubing will be $14 and skiing will be $39 which includes your ski rental and lift ticket.  If you have your own skis, the cost will be $18 for the lift ticket only.  Bring this up at your club meeting and see if your club wants to go as a group!  $1 of the cost of the trip goes towards extra liability insurance (required by the state 4-H office) to cover in case of emergency.

Registration will open in January for this event!
