Volunteer Today

Looking for a way to help the Pine County 4-H program?  We are always looking for caring adults and older youth that are willing to volunteer their time and talents!  We have a wide range of opportunities, from one time and short term commitments to long term opportunities.  Check out the current listing to see where you can help.  If you find an activity that you would be interested in helping with contact the office at 320-591-1650 or

Regional Camp Volunteers:  Volunteers are needed to serve as day program staff, night staff, kitchen helpers, and technology volunteers at the regional summer camp June 20-22 at St. Croix State Park.  As an added bonus, the volunteers child can attend camp for free.

Workshop Instructors:  Do you have a talent or hobby that you would love to share with youth?  Maybe you enjoy building birdhouses, you like to work in your vegetable garden, or you build rockets.  There are kids that would love to learn about your special talents.  Consider teaching a workshop!  Workshops could be a one time event varying from an hour to an entire day and the workshop can be scheduled around your schedule.  If you are looking for a long term position consider sharing your passion in a SPIN (Special Interest) club were you would meet 5-8 times or a project based club where you would meet once a month.

Cloverbud Planning Committee Members:  Do you love working with kids in grades kindergarten through second grade?  Would you love to plan or teach these kids fun crafts and activities?  Consider serving as a cloverbud project committee member.

County Fair Food Stand Supervisors: Volunteers are needed to help in the food stand to ensure that other volunteers know what they are expected to do, run for supplies, and see that everything is running smoothly.

County Fair Exhibit Building: Volunteers are needed to supervise the exhibit building, answer 4-H questions, assist members with picking up state fair paperwork, and light cleaning.
