Volunteers for PDC's

Calling all volunteers!  Did you know that Program Development Committees help strengthen Pine County and the educational experience our 4-H'ers receive?  We have active PDC's currently for Livestock, Shooting Sports, Food Stand, Performing Arts, Horse, Dogs, and Ambassadors!  In the past there have been PDC's for Foods, Aquatic Robotics, Woodworking, Home Environment and many more.

Fall is also a great opportunity to work with new and returning parents in your club for them to become a Minnesota 4-H screened volunteer.  All 4-H events, club meetings, etc. need minimally two screened volunteers on site at all times.  In order to become a volunteer, the adult must fill out a background check and watch a training video that is about 15 minutes in length.  This allows adults to serve on PDC's, work directly with youth at events and chaperone the many opportunities we have for 4-H'ers.

If you are interested in joining a PDC or becoming a screened Minnesota 4-H volunteer, please contact Heidi at
