    Fall Volunteer Training

    Pine County will be hosting a Fall Volunteer Training. This training is for all 4-H youth and volunteers; it is expected that each club have at least one (but not limited to) adult and youth that attends. Dinner will be provided.

    Annual Cheese Fundraiser!

    Support 4-H through this fundraiser. All money raised by the cheese fundraiser is used to benefit 4-H youth through free and low-cost trainings, county fair, workshops, camps, retreats, scholarships, and more!

    Interim Minnesota 4-H state leader Jennifer Skuza celebrates all the ways youth and adults can take action in 4-H. As the new program year begins, set your intentions for a year full of doing.

    Plan and develop your club’s budget

    It’s time for 4-H clubs to develop their annual budgets. Budgets provide a written plan for raising and spending money to accomplish club goals. Sharing budget reports with your club throughout the year is a great way to help all 4-H members understand where and how funds are being used.

    Keep youth safe when participating in 4-H programs

    Now is the time of year to plan for risk and keeping youth safe as they participate in a variety of programs, activities and events. Use our online planning tool and risk management materials to ensure safe and healthy environments for youth and adults participating in 4-H programs and activities.

    Plan to attend annual volunteer training this fall

    Powerful things happen for youth when they’re in a positive relationship with caring adults. The 2018 annual volunteer training, “4-H Grows Relationships,” will ready youth and adult volunteers to connect to young people in meaningful ways. Dates and locations are planned across the state this fall. Be sure to bring a team of youth and adult volunteers.

    Learn about changes to Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF)

    Registration for Citizenship Washington Focus, a week-long trip to Washington, DC, will open in fall 2018 for the summer 2019 experience. Youth gain civic engagement skills while touring DC with youth from across the US! Complete a short survey to receive a reminder email when registration material is posted.
