  • Message from Dorothy: Volunteering is a gift we give ourselves

    During a month we often spend expressing gratitude for good things in our lives, associate dean and state 4-H director Dorothy Freeman encourages adults to add the gift of volunteering to your list.

  • Apply for National 4-H Conference!

    Nov. 10 is the deadline for MInnesota 4-H youth to apply for the National 4-H Conference to be held in Washington D.C. April 7-12, 2018. You must be 15 years old by Jan. 1 and not older than 19 by June 1 (in the year of conference attendance).
  • Plan ahead for Citizenship Washington Focus 2018!

    Minnesota 4-H youth in grades 9-13 are invited to strengthen their communication, leadership, and citizenship skills at a national level by attending Citizenship Washington Focus in Washington D.C. from June 23-30, 2018. Pre-application materials will be available online Jan. 10, 2018.
  • Sign up for the BLU regional youth leadership workshops!

    Register for a regional youth leadership workshop for youth in grades 6-12 at one of five locations across the state. Activities are planned and facilitated by the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors!
  • Clovermart winter sale now open!

    Did you miss your favorite Minnesota 4-H styles at the state fair? Are you thinking of holiday gifts for 4-H loving people in your life? Good news - Minnesota 4-H Clovermart is open for a winter sale through Dec. 14.
  • It’s time to re-enroll!

    Re-enrollment for 4-H members and adult volunteers is open. The volunteer re-enrollment period is Sept. 16 - Oct. 31. And remember, starting this fall, 4-H volunteer enrollment will last for three years.
  • Consider applying for an AMC 4-H Community Leadership Award

    The Extension Committee of the Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) will select two 4-H club projects that will each receive awards of $500 in recognition for their contributions and service to their communities. The application deadline is Jan. 22.
  • Grow in your Leadership Role at Officer and Club Leader Training

    Were you recently elected to a club or county office position? Our have you stepped into a Club Leader role? Are you now wondering what you got yourself into or wondering where you can find tools to help you succeed? The Multi-County Officer on Club Leader training on October 29th is just the event for you.
  • 4HOnline is Open to Re-Enroll

    October 1 is the beginning of a new 4-H year and it is time to re-enroll!! Online enrollment is quick and easy. We encourage you to re-enroll as soon as possible! Check out all the information here!
  • 4-H Cloverbuds

    Cloverbuds is a discovery 4-H program for our youngest 4-H members (all Kindergarten through 2nd graders). Each meeting includes a snack, project learning and recreation with our youth and adult leaders.
  • State Shooting Sports & Wildlife Invitational

    Pipestone County had 11 4-H'ers participate at the State Shooting Sports & Wildlife Invitational in Fairmont. Congratulations to both the 4-H participants and coaches on a great year!
  • State Horse Show

    Pipestone County recently had four 4-H'ers compete at the MN 4-H State Horse Show. All four girls represented Pipestone County very well. A big congrats to all four! Be sure to check out the results.
  • Project Fair

    Interested in learning more about a 4-H Project Fair! After the GOT:VIVA process, Pipestone County 4-H came up with the idea of a Project Fair for 4-H families and community members to learn more about project exploration; plus, this is a great way for our 4-H members to showcase both their project work as well as the learning they have gained.
  • Fall Volunteer Training

    Each year, MN 4-H offers a volunteer training to bring youth and adult leaders together to learn and collaborate about different topics related to our 4-H youth. This year, Pipestone will hold their training in October with a Pizza Ranch supper for all in attendance.
  • Pheasants Forever Youth Hunt

    The Annual Pheasants Forever Youth Hunt is right around the corner. Youth ages 12-19 are invited to attend on behalf of the Pipestone Pheasants Forever and Pipestone County 4-H Shooting Sports groups. Be sure to check out this day of education, recreation and fun!
  • County Club Info Survey

    Voice your thoughts on the involvement of 4-H families in your club. This 10 question survey will only take a couple of minutes and will help 4-H staff better support the 4-H program in Pipestone County.
  • Club Charters

    It's that time of year - time for Club Charters! Club charter information is a very important aspect of club responsibility. Chartering allows you to continue to represent Minnesota 4-H and the 4-H program here in Pipestone County. Thanks to those that work on these efforts.

These Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador hosted workshops include hands-on activities, games, small group discussions, and social activities. All youth grade 6 - one year past high school are encouraged to attend!
