Federation Meeting and Risk Management

The Polk County Federation Meeting will be Sunday / October 8th.  This is to allow us to incorporate a 45 minute Risk Management Training. The meeting will start at 4:00 p.m. and will be held at UMC in the Keihle Building. Pizza will be provided.

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend if possible!  The Risk Management Training is important for anyone in a volunteer/leader/officer role to have.  The 4-H Youth Development program is committed to providing safe and healthy environments for youth participating in 4-H events and activities.  Keeping youth safe involves understanding what risk management means, assessing it and preparing for it, then utilizing that information to manage risk. The training will cover important topics and help prepare all of us for working within risk management policies and practices.

A full agenda will be posted on the Polk County 4-H Website.  Here are some items that we will be going over

  • Risk Management Training (45 min)
  • 2017-2018 Federation Officer Team
