- Club Treasurer Year End ReportingClub Treasurers have an important job in closing out the financial books at the end of each 4-H year (September 30).
- Record Completion EncouragedThe purpose of 4-H record keeping is to teach important life skills such as record keeping, planning, organizing, goal setting, utilizing resources wisely, self discipline, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, and communication. Because of individual differences, youth are encouraged to select from a variety of alternatives to meet their needs and learning styles. 4-H is not just doing, but learning by doing – sharing – understanding – relating – and applying. Record keeping encourages reflection which is a critical step in the learning process. Without reflection, applying what was learned to other situations is difficult.
