4-H Volunteers: Sign up now to attend the SW Winter Project Leader Training!

On Saturday, February 24th volunteers from across the Southwest region are invited to gather in Marshall for the SW Winter Project Leader Training. The training is scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Training will include hands-on project leader breakout sessions, a volunteer panel discussion, curriculum showcase, a healthy living cook-off, and time for networking with volunteers from other counties.  Our goal is to provide an overview of project training that you can get ideas and take back to your county to implement!

Cost is only $30 for the entire day which includes all materials and a noon meal.  Checks can be made payable to: University of Minnesota and credit card payments will also be accepted at the Morris Regional Extension Office by calling Casey at 320.589.1711, ext. 2116. Talk to your local county office to find out if scholarships are available.

Registrations are needed by Monday, February 5th to ensure an adequate amount of supplies are available.  In order to have a successful event, a minimum of 20 participants will be needed.
