Not too late to join Junior Master Gardeners program!

Our Junior Master Gardener program started on Saturday, October 14th. Youth tried hands-on activities to learn about plant parts and spent time outside planting bulbs.

We would love more members! If you'd like to join us, sign up here: We will provide you with the information needed to catch up with the rest of the class. Next meeting is Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:30am-12:30pm at The Barn (2020 White Bear Ave., Maplewood, MN 55109).

What is the Junior Master Gardener Program? 4-H and the Master Gardener program are collaborating to offer the Junior Master Gardener (JMG) program, an international youth gardening program of the university cooperative Extension network. JMG engages children in novel, “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind. Open to youth in grades 3-5.
