Regional and State Project Bowls

The annual Regional and State Project Bowls are coming up!

What is the Project Bowl? This is when teams of 3-6 youth are tested on their knowledge of 4-H project areas: Dairy, Dog, General Livestock, Horse, Lama, Poultry, Rabbit, Wildlife.  Team members practice set study materials to prepare for the Regional Project Bowl Competition, held at four different locations across Minnesota. We encourage participants to attend the Hastings High School (200 General Sieben Dr, Hastings, MN 55033) site since it is the shortest distance. The event is on Saturday, March 10, followed by the state project bowl (on April 7, 2018).  Each species has two divisions: Junior (grades 3 to 8) and Senior (grades 4 to one year after high school). Regional winners advance to the State Project Bowl and state winners in dairy, general livestock, horse, poultry and wildlife may go on to national contests.

Since Ramsey County 4-H has some experience with the rabbit project, we hope you can think about forming a team this year. If you are interested, please contact Alneida Madrigal.

For information, please click on the following link: The regional registration deadline must be postamrked no later than February 5, 2018.
