Southwest Animal Science Challenge and Project Bowl Is Fast Approaching

Thank You to Gloria Dei Riders for taking on the meals and concessions for Animal Science Project Day.  The Southwest Animal Science Challenge is a great way to practice being on a project bowl team PLUS this event sponsors really great animal science rotations.  This year it will include horse information in addition to the other rotations.  I highly recommend this program.  It is a low cost and super close event for those interested in any animal science activities to attend.  It will be held in Wabasso on February 17th.

Project Bowl season will follow in March.  Teams can include general livestock, dairy, horse, dog, wild life, poultry, and rabbit.  Teams need to include a coach who is a screened volunteer and 3-6 youth.  Project bowls include junior and senior divisions for competition.  More information is available at Minnesota 4-H

Anyone with questions should contact Stacy or Becky at 507-637-4025.  Redwood County Federation pays your entry fee's as part of the fundraising you do as a county.
