    Farmers with a Private Pesticide Applicator Permit that expires on March 1, 2017 need to get their permit renewed this year. There are three ways to renew or get your permit: attend a renewal workshop, take a written exam, or take an online exam.
  • 2017 Rice County Master Gardeners Horticulture Day
    Gardening: Not Just A Summer Project... It’s time to “Think Spring”! On Saturday, March 11th, the Rice County Master Gardeners will host their annual Horticulture Day, featuring speakers on orchids, common plant diseases, hydroponic gardening and new ideas in landscaping for 2017. The event will be held at Buntrock Commons on the campus of St. Olaf College in Northfield, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
