Club Reports

Our Rock County 4-H Clubs have been busy this fall! Thank you to our club leaders and club reporters for sharing a glimpse of what you have been up to the past couple of months with the Extension Office.  In October, the Magnolia Juniors 4-H Club held a pet rescue at Shopko in Luverne with the Tracy Area Animal Rescue in honor of Dani Gacke. They raise $269.77 and collected 181.5 lbs of dog food, 73 lbs of cat food, cat litter, treats and toys. Great job Magnolia Juniors!

This fall the Springdell 4-H Club has also been busy. On Veteran's Day, they hung the American flags around Garretson to honor veterans. At their November meeting, they had a demonstration from Wyatt and Joy F. about how to make apple cider. Thank you Springdell for sharing about your recent events!

The Blue Ribbon 4-H Club has also reported a busy fall. At the October meeting, Blue Ribbon's officers were installed for the 2017-2018 year. After the meeting, the club decorated sugar cookies as a fun activity and for a snack. At their November meeting, Blue Ribbon members took time to get to know each other better with a 4-H bingo game. Keep up the great work Blue Ribbon!

Thank you to these clubs for sharing their recent events. Make sure to share your meeting news with the office so that we can share it in future newsletters.
