Let us know if you are interested in Rube Goldberg

Rube Goldberg

Thank you everyone who attended Engineer It! Day on November 18th. It was a fun and hands-on day of learning about simple machines, energy, and building Rube Goldberg contraptions for the youth. If you missed Engineer It! day or if you attended and had a great time, participating on a 4-H Rube Goldberg team would be a great way to keep learning and enjoying this type of hands-on engineering activity. To learn more about the Rube Goldberg competition through Minnesota 4-H, you can visit this link: In order to start a team in Rock County, we will need two screened volunteers to coach the team. A Rube Goldberg team can consist of 3 to 10 4-H youth in grades 3-8. Youth older than 8th grade are welcome to serve as youth coaches. We would like to get a feel for what youth and adults might be interested in starting a team. To show your interest, fill out the survey at this link: Actual work on a Rube Goldberg team doesn't need to start until March. However, this survey is just to find out who may be interested in being on a Rube Goldberg team from Rock County.
